Springtime In The Rockies 2005

Green River, Utah
Dates: April 23rd - 29th
Limited to 12 people

In previous years this time period has provided some of the finest dry fly fishing one can imagine. Our average fish over this period has been an honest seventeen inches with fish over twenty inches being common. The dry fly action has been so good the past years that several of us never tied on a nymph! After May 1st water levels can be increased as needed for higher downstream flows, sometimes making the river almost unfishable. Our timing will provide prolific hatches of Baetis mayflies (Blue Wing Olive) combined with stable water releases, to insure our success.
We have found a real "home" at Red Canyon Lodge and will again stay in their Deluxe Duplex Cabins, with two people per unit. Each unit has two queen-size beds, separate living room with a wood burning fireplace, kitchenette and a full bathroom. We will order from their full menu and enjoy the fine food that Red Canyon Lodge is known for, which is enhanced by the fine servIce.
